Huuh...It takes me a week to setup a forum. Now I have DNN Forum V5.0.3 source and install.zip. But in some pages, I just want to show threads without other forum information. As picture below, I just want the red part.

Which ascx file should I use to get this part out of orginal ascx? If I have to change it from source code, which file is for this? Thanks a lot

You *might* be able to accomplish this by modifying forum css, take a look at that.

Note that 5.0.3 is not the latest one, there are already some enhancements in later versions.

Do you mean display:none to hide it?

I knew there is newer version. V6.0.0? V5.0.3 is not compatiable with Firefox. But I couldn't get V6 built successfully. Lots errors come up. It is in this thread:

Still waiting for help...

I suggest DNN should make it more flexiable for some junior programmers(like me, Iam stupid) saving more time. Not just build all functions in one pack. And add an instruction for deloy the development enveroment for each open source module.  That will attract more programmers/newbees.

Latest version of this DNN forum lives now in https://github.com/juvander/DotNetNuk...

The one that was migrated into https://github.com/DNNCommunity/DNN.F... contains v6 sources which you have already failed to work with.

 Hi,Juvander

This one downloaded from https://github.com/juvander/DotNetNuke-Forum

It has many errors too. I open the solution file under DotNetNuke-Forum-05.00.05\branches\DNN_5.

After click build. Errors come up. I check all DNN releated references are under DotNetNuke-Forum-05.00.05\bin

If I choose the references from the running DNN platform, it gets more errors.
