I'm DNN developer but didn't know much more about DNN Evoq. I need to convert my website from Professional Edition to Evoq. Current website has 28 custom modules and 1 skin.

My Questions:

1. Can I integrate current website modules in Evoq?

2. Can I directly upgrade current website version to Evoq?

3. Can I current skin in Evoq?

4. Can I install Evoq in my own servers?

5. We already have license of Professional Version, still we need to pay for Evoq?

Thanks!

Evoq is the new name of what used to be Professional and Enterprise Editions
It comes in 3 flavours, Content - Basic (PE), Content(EE) and Engage (Social)
If you're planning on moving up to Evoq 8.x.x from a previous version you should contact Support and run through what you may need to do before upgrading.

I have already done meeting with Sales Team but they didn't able to give answer of my technical questions.

Are you able to give me answers of my above 5 questions? It would be very helpful for me to take right decision.

Thanks!

Evoq is DNN platform bundled with a number of extensions (modules, providers, controlPanel, skin) built by DNN Corp.
1. yes
2. yes, please follow the suggested upgrade path in DNN wiki, i.e. if you are still on DNN 6, you should upgrade to latest DNN 6, DNN 7.1.2, DNN 7.4.2 (= Evoq 8.2) and DNN 8.0.2 (= Evoq 8.4)
3. yes
4. yes according to your license. please make sure, the server meets the prerequisites of the DNN Platform version (DNN 8 requires .Net 4.5.1 and SQL Server 2008 or later)
5. please make sure, the license is still valid (it usually runs for one year).
Please contact Sales or support at DNN Corp. for further licensing and technical details.
