Did you whitelabel your domain on SendGrid? If not, probably your e-mails are being sent to junk folders or directly dropped by users' e-mail server. I would recommend:
1. To verify the domain Whitelabel settings (see https://sendgrid.com/docs/User_Guide/...)
2. Check on Sendgrid's portal the delivery reports per each e-mail for more information

No I didn't. First I've heard of it. None of my other Azure hosted sites have needed it. Will checkout the link. Thanks

We figured it wasn't a white label thing as this problem doesn't occur in other azure sites using send grid.

Dev tells me the HOst SMTP password is changing after each registration.

No idea why.
