what kind of login script? the login button should submit the form - or does the login form not show up, when you browse /login?

okay - so I have a login button on top right- click that where there is supposed to be a module that allows one to login (login form) there is nothing but header/footer  and blank space where module form would be- So it's either hidden or did not load on the restore.

okay one thing i found looking at other sites I have - seem to to be missing the tableid in the script using inspect element:

here is the script copy for this page:  <form method="post" action="/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2f" id="Form" enctype="multipart/form-data">

and  one from another site using a similar login routine:

<form name="Form" method="post" action="/TCFMCLog-in/tabid/92/Default.aspx?returnurl=%2f" id="Form" enctype="multipart/form-data">

Is the table ID 92 or 96 ( I found this in other parts of the script for login) and then where in the file manager program does this script reside?

Thanks,

this looks like special configurations in your site - using /login would be the new option in DNN 7.4 (some paths are hidden for security reasons)
using a specific tabid would only work, if you created this page and set it as login page in Admin > Site Settings.

Well when DNN was having all kinds of security issues- it was recommended not to use the standard login, but to use  a customized version. its been so long ago - 2014 ? I did that for all of my installations, and  have not had an issue until now.  Obviously I need to get to the site-  and editing the login.aspx would be the best way to get the right table to show up.

At a standstill so trying to make this work- I can copy login module  from somewhere else and ftp to site or edit the script. I have file manager access to the site via control panel on my hoster.  Just getting to the right file is my dilemma right now.
