Hi. does anyone know of any modules or sql scripts that can pull together audit trail reports that show. Edits to pages, who by, when documents were uploaded, when page or docs deleted etc etc for both Community and Pro versions

due to the nature of DNN, this is hard to accomplish, as there is no interface for DNN to query, when latest record was added to a module.
There used to be a "what's new" module by old DNN Corp. which queried search index, but it was the first module they discontinued.

I had to provide evidence that we could see an audit trail of edits to our local gov site. It did not need to be very complex just show some recording. in the end I built a simple reporting module with 3 repeaters and 2 filters. (portal ID and file type) n a tabbed interface.

I created some views to link  portals and tabs, certain modules and  users, for HTML Module, Pages and the links module (luckily we used this for all our downloadable files)

Repeaters followed a similar form to below (html module) with variation for each type
portal name, tab name, moduleid, created date, created by, last modified date , modified by, is published  or is deleted.

If any one wants the module code and views send me a message.

sounds like a nice module, did you consider publishing it on GitHub?
