@Budget Company, please try removing WebDAV from your IIS. This tends to block REST API calls.

If it isn't ready, what are folks doing about security vulnerabilities in 8.04? There are several critical vulnerabilities listed here:

http://www.dnnsoftware.com/community/security/security-center

for 8.04 and it looks like the only option to address them is to go to 9

Like many others, I've moved to other platforms.
I can't work with all the bugs, the persona bar is a disaster and all the other mistakes made by the DNN team. Not to mention the attitude that they're ALWAYS right and can't see the obvious even when they have it explained to them.
If you're not an EVOQ user (DNN financer) you don't matter.
I've been using this platform for more than 10 years. I'm done with it. The downhill slide started when EVOQ came out and there's no sign of any change of heart from DNN or any improvement to their approach.
Can you not do ANY testing before release? Doesn't look like it.
When they can't create their own website without glaring bugs and errors then we don't have much chance.

Pat, please follow instructions in http://www.dnnsoftware.com/community-... and you should be save for most issues, if running DNN 8.0.4 or 7.4.2, DNN 9 has new features and UI, but might break existing sites with 3rd party extensions applied.

Paul,
with latest owner change of DNN Corp. it looks like the attitude of DNN Corp towards the community and its contributions did change, maybe you want to give it another chance.
