Hi Gents,

Great job with this editor. I was able to install it with zero problems.

I have been using the FCK Editor with DNN for sometime and made a couple of changes which I would like to ask you to consider.

1. Full links
When a link is populated in the FCK_Link window can it be a full link (http://somedomain.com/thelink) instead of a partial link (/thelink) . I have clients who put page and file links into Emails that are created within DNN using Form Master which in uses the FCK Editor.

2. File Browser
The original FCKEditor included a file browser which I incorporated into my DNN/FCK installs. This gave my clients a much nicer interface for selecting files, plus it restricted them to certain directories.

Thanks for listening and keep up the good work.

Tony Stallan

Maybe you don't know it, but this is a feature already included. You can enable it by using the custom options page

You can still use any interface. Just change the proper values on the configuration section for the provider inside the web.config. Look for the ImageGalleryPath property

I would be interested in looking at the file browser you built - i have been trying to build a better interface and would like to see what you have

Hi locopon,

Are you able to point out which is the values to change in order to show the File Browser?
I tried to add in path like "LinksUploadPath="~/Providers/HtmlEditorProviders/FckHtmlEditorProvider/fcklinkgallery.aspx"" in the web.config but I can't see any file manager in the editor.

Can you advise if I'm doing the right thing?

Just try leaving those values as default. The configuration I included inside the instructions file is already working.
