Yes, 4.x will be the main platform now.

So is 3.3.3 the last 1.1 .NET version?

Thanks for the feedback on the newsletter.

ExactTarget is great for getting the newsletter together and we are extremely grateful to them for providing the service. Their built-in templating engine , although good, does not work very well for our specific newsletter design. So, I use a very sophisticated content editing platform to put it together instead.

You may even have heard of it ... it's called Notepad.

I did not get this Newsletter and now I am jealous ;)

I checked my roles and I subscribed to the one available public role - DotNetNuke Notifications - should I get the Newsletter with this role?

Each time we execute the email campaign, we get a list of addresses that are undeliverable. This might happen for any number of reasons, but once it does we no longer attempt delivery of future emails to that address. This is because ExactTarget's policies (and indeed policies of most email campaign services) require you to keep your undeliverable threshold below a certain level or you get booted off their system. As of today, we have 37,684 undeliverables, most of which are Hotmail addresses, but there are many private addresses in the list also. If I had to guess, I would say you are in that list which is why you did not get the newsletter.

I am working on adding Sender ID for our account which might address this problem with some ISPs. Meanwhile, here are two steps you can take to ensure you get the newsletter:

1) Send an email to marketing@dotnetnuke.com with subject "Subscribe to Newsletter: YOUR_EMAIL_ADDRESS"

2) Visit the URL http://memberlandingpages.com/address_book/address_book_add.htm. Follow the instructions for your ISP for address newsletter@dotnetnuke.com

Hmm - I get all other mail to this address from the DNN main site (must be an ExactTarget issue). I've done number 1) and will look into number 2) now (although all spam still comes through marked as **SPAM** but I received nothing...

On Smart-Thinker, I display the Newsletters permanently because they often contain valuable aggegated information (and for scenarios like this). Would it not be worth putting them up on the site?
