you should upgrade to 4.03.03, as a lot of the issues in 4.03.00 to 4.03.02 release candidates were ironed out. Not sure, if this is part of it.

so you are getting the add row and module settings links?
When I'm logged in as my Content Editor user, I have the dropdown option of "Manage User Defined Table" but not the module "Settings" option.

Can you please check the permissions table, there should be at least six entries, two each with permissioncode SYSTEM_MODULE_DEFINITION, SYSTEM_TAB and SYSTEM_FOLDER, one of them with permissionkey VIEW and one with key EDIT.

Permissions that show in the UDT Module Settings:
View Module
Edit Module
Edit Row
Create New Row
Delete Row
Show All User Defined Columns

I took a look in the database and found the following:

- the permission keys for SYSTEM_MODULE_DEFINITION VIEW and EDIT are present
- there are entries for my module allowing the EDIT permission for the roles I've assigned

Unfortunately I keep getting the Help/Online Help menus instead of all the edit controls.  As well, the text is not showing up when logged in as a user with edit permission(the administrator can see/edit the information as normal).

does this affect new version of Text/HTML-module only?

No, I discovered this problem when using the Links module and then checked the Text/HTML and found it to be the same. I'd expect it to be the same for all modules.

This sums it up:
Assigning edit rights for a non-admin user to a module appears to be broken in the fresh non-upgraded DNN 4.3.3 Final.

It needs to be confirmed by others who have a fresh installation running. Mine is on my webhost where I've been running many instances of DNN since 2.1.2. I seldom do an upgrade as it's just asking for trouble.

I'll test a couple more modules today and post back here.

Rob
