What error do you get? The validaterequest attribute was only added in asp.net 1.1, you get an error with it if you are running asp.net 1.0 - dotnetnuke does not run under this version.

I am running ASP 2.0 and I get the error trying to hit the login page.  Something like "unknown parameter".  I am getting it while DNN is parcing (i assume) the web.config file.

I also can not figure out the group assignments.  How do I auto assign a group to a AD user so he has the privledges I want him to have without having to enter a role directly into the SQL database?
