Yes, Catalook not only has affiliate / referals built in, but it also lets you set up your store for 3rd party vendors to sell their products with commisions like Snowcovered.

I'll look into that registration thing.  I have been getting new users constantly from the checkout process though.

Thanks for the heads up.

PortalStore seems really great at first, but ended up being a headache, so I went back to Catalook. Cata supports the most features and the customer support is good. Now, like almost all shopping carts, it's very hard to manage large catalogs, and it's very hard to customize the skin and check-out process. The admin & configuration is generally NOT intuitive all all -- there's a learning curve. But, I've not found anything better out there, even in non-DNN land. You'll only do better by creating your own shopping cart.

My experience has been that Portal Store has been the superior product.  It does everything mentioned in this thread that cataLook does, but it's a smoother and easier process overall, plus it integrates into the other modules offered by the same company which extends the functionality even further --- such as Advanced Email Manager and SiteTrack.  It includes the basic functionality to do all those things just by itself, but combining it with the additional modules really makes it an incredible platform.

Also, their support is incredible and very responsive to suggestions.

They have some neat features that cataLook didn't have the last I used it, which was several months ago, as well.  For example, if you sell products on Snowcovered, it has the ability to automatically pull the info from Snowcovered into Portal Store, set up the appropriate roles, etc.  Another great example is a points accrual system which allows you to set up things like a "rewards program".
