When adding a module to my DNN site (only some modules) I get the following errors.. are there any known issues with SQL2005

A critical error has occurred.
An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)

Windows 2003 Standard Server with SP1
Microsoft SQL 2005 Standard with SP1

I am experiencing the same issue and I am at a complete loss.

Some of my modules install without issue but one in particular (which I have installed successfully onto a different server under 4.0) will not install and gives the same error.

I am using Windows 2003 Standard SP1 with SQL Server Express SP1 in a 3.2.2 install of DNN.

If I figure this out I will be sure to post the solution.

Anthony,

Thanks for the help but the post you reference refers to the web.config file for the 4.x versions of DNN.

My install is a 3.2.2 one which I have since upgraded to 4.3.4 and now have a new set of problems which I have posted under another thread.
