For those interested, this also works if you want to add the "@somedomain.com" for the domain name instead of domain\.  I have instructed our users to use their email address to log in so changing it now would be problematic.

to do this change the line

  txtUsername.Text = String.Format("Domain\{0}", txtUsername.Text)

to read

  txtUsername.Text = String.Format("{0}@somedomain.com", txtUsername.Text)

This works flawlessly when I use IE to log in to my portal, but it does not seem to change anything when I use Firefox.  Does anyone know how to make it work in FF?

Steven are you talking about the original script posted at the top? I just tested it on our site in Firefox and it worked fine. What's it doing to for you?

I am talking about the original script that was posted at the top.

I just tested again and found that it does work, but not consistently.  I had to attempt to log in several times before it let me in.

That's odd as I've never run into a problem with it. When it failed to log you in did it populate the username with your domain name?
