Hi all !
When I create a DNN portal with Starter Kit on Visual Studio 2005 I can start it only with ASP Application Server.
I am trying to start it with IIS 6.0 but without any success. IIS 6.0 says there is no such a file. I've followed all instruction about configuring virtual directory and all permissions and so on. If I put an example.aspx file IIS shows it, but when I try to see default.aspx it says there is no such file, until I give a port for example http://localhost:1045/default.aspx, but it runs than on the ASP Application Server that comes with VS 2005.
Can someone give me a tip what am I doing wrong because I want to host the portal on IIS on my server.
Thanks.
Best regards!

Sorry I wanted to say ASP.NET Development Server.
That means when I create a DNN portal with VS 2005 Start Kit, I can start it only with ASP.NET Development Server.
Please advice.
Best regards!

Using IIS6 Manager, right click on your website and select Properties.  Click on the documents tab to see if default.aspx is in the list, if not, you can add it.

Now right click on the site (in IIS manager) and click browse. If this works, it should work from your normal browser.  If not, then there is something else wrong with your IIS configuration.

Thanks, I did that all before posting to the forum. It is not that, it's just when I start once the DNN from VS 2005 it starts it with ASP.NET Development Server, and from that time I can not start it with IIS.

In Visual Studio select Website|Start Options. You should be able to select the specific server there.
