Hello!

I tried to find answer, but unsuccessufully. If i click on module edit or for example in events module if  i click to see event details, my left and right pane are hidden (i have 3 panes skin).  Actually they are not hidden, they are not loaded with defined modules. I know this is by design, but is it possible to show panes (except contentpane) in module edit?

Please, help me, beacuse i cant find answers...

Regards, Gregor

Anything that is Edit type of module action will load the sites Admin skin and container. This is probably why you only see the single pane. Also, when in 'edit' mode you will never see other modules on the page and there is no way to make that happen. TO make it happen in anyway requires changing the code and security of the module. (Not normally an easy task to complete properly)

Thank you, Crispy. Now i get it. Is it possible if i change Admin skin and container to make it work or panes, other than contentpane, doesn't get proccessed? Is this, what i want, bad design? Should i just get used on such way?

in module edit , only control specified in ctl query string module is displayed in content tab fortunately, after some investigation , i found away that load all modules within all panes while you edit any module 1- you need to download dnn source code to edit dotnetnuke.dll 2-goto Library\UI\Skins\Skin.vb 3-you need to modify ProcessSlaveModule to load other module in current tab for more hel , contact me at osama_dev@hotmail.com
