Dear dnn-fellows

I need some information.

First
I've upgraded a website from 3.1.0 to 3.3.4
Everything looks normal but what did I see...

Current assembly version: 03.03.04
Current database version: 03.01.00

I'm wondering why the current database version is 03.01.00 and why this is not upgraded?

What have I to do before I start at my second question?...

Second
I want this site upgrade to 4.3.4.
What have I to do except the upgrading procedure.

I know that 03.03.04 runs under ASP.NET 1.1.
And that 04.03.04 runs under ASP.NET 2.0

I think an upgrade process shall take me a lot of time and I'm afraid that not everything shall work... I shall have a lot of nightmares I think...

When you see that... Is it wise to try the upgrade to version 4.3.4?

Dear gvborre !

First :
befor upgarding , you had 3.1.0 assembly and 3.1.0 databse, but in upgrade steps you copy the 3.3.4 assembly into your webroot, so in this step you had 3.3.4 assembly and 3.1.0 database!
then you run the portal, becouse of this diffrance it start to upgarde database from 3.1.0 to 3.3.4, so first tel you :

Current assembly version: 03.03.04
Current database version: 03.01.00

then  upgrade process strat...

after upgrading your assembly and database are the same as 3.3.4 !

Second:
sorry! i dont have any experiance in this issue, but i think there is not a atomatic packege to miggrate from 3.x.x to 4.x.x

Rezapasha

Thanks for your answer...
But that is the curious thing that I've noticed...
Normally after the upgrading process I had to have a database version 03.03.04.  But it was 03.01.00 that he shows...
and the assembly version 03.03.04.
