Hi I am hoping someone can help me with this problem, I have enabled AD authentication, logged in from an external browser using my ad credentials, when I log back in as host and try to look at the user account settings I get the error below.

I am using DNN 4.3.4 which was installed from the Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition installer, it is running on a HPDL360 running Windows 2000 SP4 and dotnet2.

Error: User Accounts is currently unavailable.

Ok, I solved this more by luck that by judgement but at least it got solved.

I don't know if this will help anyone else but I think what sorted it out for me was uncommenting the httpModule setting:



then right click on the User table (in the tables section of the database) and select properties then set the first name and last name to allow nulls.

I still have a slight problem with logging in after a user logs out but this seems to be sorted out if you add the site to the local intranet security group in IE.
