I have upgraded to 3.3.4. When authorizing a user the User registraton notification is sent to the user, but the password field is empty [Membership:password]. What is wrong? User name and portal adress is showing correct.
If asking for password reminder for the same user the password is sent and is visible?

I'm not sure that this is related to your problem but it may be.
In 4.3.4- (and I think the code is the same in 3.3.4) in the file
admin/register/security/register/register.ascx.vb is this sequence at about line 616

             Case PortalRegistrationType.VerifiedRegistration
                   Mail.SendMail(PortalSettings.Email, userControl.Email, "", _
                                        DotNetNuke.Services.Localization.Localization.GetSystemMessage(objNewUser.Profile.PreferredLocale, PortalSettings, "EMAIL_USER_REGISTRATION_PUBLIC_SUBJECT", objNewUser), _
                                        DotNetNuke.Services.Localization.Localization.GetSystemMessage(objNewUser.Profile.PreferredLocale, PortalSettings, "EMAIL_USER_REGISTRATION_PUBLIC_BODY", objNewUser), _
                                        "", "", "", "", "", "")
'show a message that an email has been send with the registration details

Notice that the case statement is for VerifiedRegistration but the constants are EMAIL_USER_REGISTRATION_PUBLIC_...
I changed these to
EMAIL_USER_REGISTRATION_VERIFIED_... and that fixed some registration problems I was having when I cloned this file into a custom registration module.
