Being a C# developer myself, I'd recommend learning VB. It won't hurt you to know the syntax of both languages, if you're a compitent C# developer VB shouldn't be too difficult. Also, I always recommend trying to stick with core code when possible, as the core forums get updated, you can get new features, without having to code them yourself. Though, you can also code your own features when necessary.

Learn VB, it will be a great tool to have in your arsenal. It will also open up more opportunities from a job perspective knowing both.

I've been doing VB since v3 and C# since 1999, knowing both has been a tremendous asset.

To learn VB? Take what you know in C#, forget about curly braces and forget about case sensitivity. POOF! You're pretty much 80% there.
