In addition to all the "Object reference not set" errors I am still having , I am having this odd error with just 1 user.

As soon as they goto the forums page, this error comes up. Any ideas?

This can happen if you have DNN installed in a "deep" directory.  i.e. something like c:\stuff\more stuff\even more stuff\appplications\web stuff\DNN\DNN433

If you think this might be the case, moving DNN "higher" in the directory structure will fix the problem.

Nope, I have DNN installed in /dnn off the root.

But I did find the problem, or at least I was able to correct it.  There was a forum called "Business Office Administrative Committee", with a matching rolename.

I renamed them both to just "Business Office Committee", and it seems to work ok now.  The reason only this user had the issue, was because she was one of only 2 people with this role.

It's kinda wierd that the superuser account could load the forums and view this particular forum just fine.

Thanks for the response.

This problem only shows when caching is done to disk. The cache polling provider affects this too. This is a core bug I need to look into.

Hi there,

I am running into this problem again, and it's really difficult to track down where the problem resides.  It would be extremely helpful if the error message would display the string raising the error so it could be fixed.

My site is set to Heavy Caching in memory.  The Forum module does not have caching turned on.
