Hi,

I'm relativly new to dNN, but I've been playing around with it quite a bit (from a non-coding point of view) and ended up building a site for my Church.  But I've hit a snag. There's a problem in the current Announcements module, which seems to affect hosted sites that don't have dbo owned DBs.  So as part of trying to fix that, I deleted the Announcements module and re-imported it.  Which, of course, removed all the instances of the Announcements module from the site.

Fortunatly, I'd exported the site, as a template (with content) before I did this, so I have a "backup" of the site structure.  But I can't see how I would apply the template to the existing site (which is the host portal, as it happens).

How can I do this?  Will I have to remove the host portal and re-build it (from the template), or is there a way to apply the template over the existing site?

Help!

Thanks
Craig

Im not sure if you can apply a template to an existing site without removing that site and recreating.
Perhaps this is a new feature but I am not aware of it.
