Hi,

I've been through a few upgrades without much trouble and after having tested to upgrade to the 3.3.5 version locally without issues I thought I'd do the same on a distant server at Webhost4life. Backed everything up and unzipped the DNN upgrade zip into the folder. The Upgrade succeeded but when I wanted to browse to the portal the page was full of errors "Could not load skin, Could not load module etc...

After having scrathed my head for a while I noticed that all the modules were gone as well as the skins, child portals , language packs and images related to modules or skins. I have now spent the last 5 hours to FTP the missing stuff in its place to get everything back up and running. I've asked wh4l but no reply yet. Anyone know how to tacle this problem ?

Well does anyone know how to upgrade on webhost4life ? Anyone managed an upgrade there ? 

The following is the warning message when trying to unzip the DotNetNuke into a folder in order to perform the upgrade.

"Caution: when you unzip the zip file, it will overwrite all the existing folders and files with the same name as the folders/files inside the zip file".

It sure overwrites all the folders including childportals, modules, and skins making a successful upgrade impossible.

Needless to say, silence seem to be golden at wh4L.
