Please note, there are hundreds of posts on these forums every day, it's very hard for us to read them all. If you have issues, please raise them with as much information as possible on the public issuelog http://support.dotnetnuke.com/project/Project.aspx?PROJID=23 , otherwise they're likely to be lost.

At present I am not aware of this error, nor of anyone investigating it (though I could be wrong, as I've been busy lately). There were issues with the folders, during some of the upgrades, particularly for early adopters, I advise you to read the following 3 blogs, and follow the advice here, perhaps your issues are data upgrade related.

Hi Cathal,
I have upgraded our live site from 3.2.2 to 3.3.5 and are struggling to understand how the new file manager features works. I think this is partly because is does not work as expected in an upgraded site.

I someone could document how it is supposed to work it would same us all a lot of time, and we could give correct feedback to the core team. So core team; could anyone help with at least a detailed blog post about this.

I am seeing what all the others are seeing, so this is an big issue now. Please get the the right core people to lock into it.
Thanks ArntK

Similar problems which I posted at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/105/threadid/73344/scope/posts/Default.aspx before finding this thread.

I have screaming clients now, not pretty:(

I have found that by deleting the contents of the tables:
  • Files
  • Folders
  • FolderPermissions

Syncronisation will populate the Filemanager Folder Structure but will not populate the Files list.

So far, following the advice of this and another thread, I was able to get the File Manager to display my original folder list - but ONLY in Internet Explorer.  It is still broken in Firefox.  Ugh!

By the way, this file system upgrade is a nightmare.
