I would think most of these want someone with development experience in modify the core or creating custom modules. I've had three head hunters call me within the past couple of weeks asking this very question and offering me positions. I turned them all down as these were short term gigs and that is not something I would be interested in, but this does show that more and more companies are utilizing this product which will require people with the skills to mold the platform to where it meets the business requirements of individual verticals across industries. I think its good that these sorts of questions are starting to get asked of potential job candidates.

When applying for the Job, people asking experience with Dotnet Nuke. What they mean?

they mean, how to use nuke?

or how add new functionality to nuke?

If my company already having some asp.net (with vb.net) project running , can we add dotnet nuke to that? How?[/quote]

Hi Seshu,

My opinion is that being experienced with DNN usually means that they want you to be a competent ASP.Net developer who understands the architecture of DNN and how to best use the built in features of the framework.  They will expect you to be able to produce a module from scratch and not rewrite any feature that already exists.  To be able to satisfy this requirement you will need to fully understand exactly how all of teh DNN Admin, Host and Core modules work and how best to use them to compete any requirement.

You cant add DNN to an existing pplication, you may be able to port your application to be useable inside DNN but its not somehthing you just add.
