I added all the bugs into Gemni a while back.  Maybe they addressed the issues but decided not to use our work?  Which I am cool with, since it is a bit of a hack.

I think the "fix" is still needed as the synchronizing only partially works. It's adding to groups without a problem but not removing them. I won't be able to look at an update for 4.3.6 until late this week or early next week.

Thanks for clarifying it... I wasn't going to upgrade to 4.3.6 until I was sure we can get the same fix in place.

Hi Dennis,

Did you manage to get the DNN 4.3.5 running successfully with only Windows Authentication enabled?

I'm having the same issue:

If I use only Windows Authentication and open the site as a new user (login to my pc as a new user created in AD), the page goes into an endless loop.

However, if the user is already in DNN than the user is logged in without a problem.

If I use Form Authentication everything works fine. (WindowsSignin.aspx works as well for users in AD).

I need to use Windows Only Authentication since I'm using other APi's that rely on that.

Thanks,

Timur

I just tried a fix that I found in one of the threads (don't remember which).

This fix worked for me (I think it should only be applied if you're using only Windows Authentication).

Here is the fix:

"I believe there is an error in the HttpModule.DNNMembership module.
I commented out:  Response.Redirect(Request.RawUrl, True)

And it works now."

(This fix is not mine, I found it in on of the threads)

Timur
