hi,

i have a web site with only one portal. and i want to create an admin user which can see (after login) only the portal administration menu and the host administration menu will not be available. ?

another thing is how can i limit a user to see only part of the portal administration items?

i.e. the user will not see the "Vendors" item , "Languages" item or others?

The first part is very easy. Make a new user and add them to the Administrators role. They will be able to see the Admin menu and not the Host menu.

To restrict the items in the Admin menu you will need a special module - DotNetNuke does not support this by default. I think you can do this with the TRTControlPanel-1.6 which is free.
