I downloaded the original version (there is a link on the tutorial on the first page) and I was able to re-create the error. The problem is definitely the “Default Cache Time”. Setting this to “0” solved the problem.

In the Module definition, you must set the Default Cache Time to 0 (and click the Update Cache Properties button to set it). Otherwise it wont work properly because of module caching.

Ha, after answering you earlier in this thread I came across the same apparent problem myself.  But it wasn't a cache problem for me.

I'd given my secondary user controls an 'edit' designation in the module definition.  I changed this to 'view' and voila! It works.  I wasn't aware that you could have 2 view controls without problems.

I also tried the 'anonymous' type and that worked ok.  I'll have to try and find info about these in the docs.

It was a cache problem.  I had to change it in the module definitions and within the actual module on the page.  Once that was done, it worked.  I appreciate everyone's input and help on this.  It was a frustrating problem with a simple solution.  At least now I know I am not going crazy!

I think you just wrote the perfect definition:

bug: a frustrating problem with a simple solution

At least, the amount of time spent finding them is usually disproportionate to the amount of time spent fixing them.
