I had a portal working until i updated it from 4.3.4 to 4.3.6.  The portal is running, however when you open the site it is thrown into a loop, only when accessing a file/document directly it works and even i am able to logon.

The table PortalAlias has one entry and this one corresponds with the url that's being used.

I restarted the app with the new link found in host settings, i did changed the web.config to force a restart and i tried to recopy a dll to force a restart, all did not result in a positive ending.

What can be done to stop the loop?
I searched the net and found things like restarting the app etc but as explained above that didnt work.

thanks in advance!
