I think you will need to upgrade DNN to 3.2.2 to fix the problem.

Have you turned off the Solpart Navigation?

Thanks for the note. I just changed to the DNN Menu Nav Provider. We'll see how that goes.

I don't know if this has anything to do with the problem, but:

  • from my home XP Professional machine, I get the error when NOT logged in.
  • from my XP Pro machine at work, no error at all, whether logged in or not!
  • both machines have Service Pack 2, and the latest version of Internet Explorer 6.
  • I've also tried FireFox 1.0.7 and Netscape 7.1. Both of these browsers work fine from my work machine.

I'll try again from home later tonight and see what happens.

I thought I needed to change web.config to a different nav menu provider. But then I found another thread mentioning the "Show Navigator" forum setting. I turned that off -- that's what you meant, right?

Either way, the critical error does NOT occur on my computer at work. I'll post again if the error still shows up on my home PC. And I'll upgrade to 3.2.2 if necessary.

Thanks for the replies!

Yes, i meant the option in General Settings. (Show Navigator)

Please remind me, which page was the problem again?
