I have used Camtasia to build a video and I am trying to play it in a DNN site or even just drop the files at the root of my DNN install and get the video to run. Camtasia creates several files to be able to run it all in an HTML page. When I open the page in a browser from the file system it runs fine. But when I hit it using the URL it says it is loading the components and then just hangs. Is there something that I need to enable to get this to work?

Not sure what your problem is.  You just didn't give enough information.  I use Camtasia to create flash videos and have them on a  4.3.4 site -works great.  It took a bit of finessing, to make it "look good"... but I did not have any problems with getting it to work.

See here:  Tutorial

Click on the graphic to start the video...

Cheers!

I get a javascript error when I try to run the video on your page.

In general, how are you putting this into DNN? What type of export are you using for Camtasia...HTML page or simple SWF file? I can export from Camtasia using the Custom Options and Legacy SWF setting, then use a DNN Flash module to render just the SWF. But when I try to export out as HTML and then put all the files into a folder and run the HTML in an iFrame on DNN it loads components and then just hangs up. I wanted to run as an HTML page since it uses the nice Camtasia viewer with user controls. Any ideas on why it is hanging up?

Thanks for the heads up.  Works fine in Firefox,,, have to look into it.... you are using IE?

I used the Flash/HTML output.  Here is the section that loads my video.  If you have Firefox 1.5 or higher, you can see it work:
<Script Language="JavaScript">
<!-- function load() {var load = window.open('/Portal/Portals/0/Gallery/397/Video/DeCrackler/DeCrackler%20-%20Overview.html','DeCrackler Tutorial','scrollbars=no,menubar=no,height=385,width=335,resizable=no,toolbar=no,location=no,status=no');
}// --></Script>
<a href=" load()"><img width="251" height="251" border="0" align="left" alt="Click Here to view FLASH tutorial!" style="margin-right: 10px; width: 251px; height: 251px;" src="/Portal/Portals/0/Gallery/397/Articles/VPI Images/vpi_DeCrackler_big.jpg" />
</a>

Obviously, I have to sort out the js error in IE...
