Regarding the Email Notifications, I installed the default WWStore module by Allan from Emerald Solutions on DNN 4.5.0. I haven't received any notifications for orders or updates. Is anyone else experiencing the same? And does the modified version by kennster fix this issue as well?

Many thanks in advance!

As far as email notifications, the only emails I'm seeing is if i login as administrator, review anyprevious orders, and then change the status of any of those emails..for example from Paid to Shipped or Processing to cancelled...if that event occurs, I get emails.

I do not get emails from the application on completion or payment of a transaction, no. When testing with paypal, paypal sent confirmation emails to both my store and my fake customer, however...so an email does get sent, just not by the application.

Kennsters version fixes a lot of object names, but not much else...so things are called DotNetNuke.Modules.WWStore.Admin instead of DotNetNuke.Modules.Store.Admin in a LOT of places; it does not address the long skin names (gotta do that yourself)

Thanks for all the work on this module...

How/where would I go about changing the text for the email notifications to the store admin and customer?

I appreciate everyone's time and expertise.

Hi everyone,

I'm a user with very small programming experience and trying to get WWStore to work. I just want to change the text that is displayed to the customers when using the store while checking out. For example, if using the E-mail provider, when the purchase is complete, the site displays a message which says the customer will be contacted by e-mail to complete the process. How can I change this message to say we will call you on the phone or anything else?

I appreciate the help

Hi,

I do not remember if in this version the message was in resources. Go to Host > Languages > Language Editor (bottom left), then in the tree open Local Resources > Desktop Modules > WWStore > Providers > GatewayProviders > EmailProvider > App_LocalResources. Click on the file EmailPayment.ascx and look in the right part if you have the resource lblOrderNumber.Text. If you can find it, replace the text by your and save. If not, wait for the new Store version, this is can be changed with it.

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.
