Ok, I've been able to compile and test these changes, works fine for me.

Great! What did you do and how did you do it?

I tried to correct the sourcecode, but the build did not result in the expected new dll's.

I must have done something wrong, but I don't know what.

Cheers,

Jos

The changes I made I listed previous in this thread.

Are you saying you can't get it to compile?  Or that you can't find the resulting DLLs?

If you're interested in the dll, shoot me an email s p y h u n t e r 6 6 AT h o  t m a i l . c o m and I'll send it your way.

Hi Atarvin,

Let me tell you what I did.

I'm using Microsoft Visual Webdeveloper 2005.

At first I unzipped the sourcecode from the storemodule from Allan into a temporary directory, and from there, I copied the C sources (only the one's in the 'root'; no sub-directories) into the store module directory in my TestDNN 4.4.0

Then I fired my Webdeveloper for this DNN testset and placed the C sources into the project. I modified the code according your suggestion in your previous post. Then I did a build witch came to an end without errors.

I expected the new build would result in a updated store module, but the error I started with was still there. I checked the DLL's, but they ware the same as before, I could tell by the timestamp and filesize. I could't find any new generated DLL's.

So my main problem is how to (re)build the store module with Webdeveloper. Do I have to modify some webdeveloper settings?

You could send me your solution, that could help me further with exploiting my DNN site. But I also want to know what I did wrong, obviously, so I will be able to do my own repair in case something in the storemodule (or any DNN 4.4.0 module for that matter) has to be altered.

Ok, I tried again to (re)build the solution, and I tried to (re)build the website.

Now I get six errors:

Error 1 File '~/controls/LabelControl.ascx' was not found. F:\VD_Web\visualdata\VD_Portal_ASPX\VD_DNN_4_Test\Website\DesktopModules\WWStore\CustomerCart.ascx 2 51 F:\...\VD_DNN_4_Test\

Remark: This subdir is there, and the file is there too.

Remark: I get this one more often. It seems not to harm the website, so I don't pay much attention to it.

Remark: I don't know what this error means, nor how to get rid of it. Please give me a hint.

The part in the web.config on line 55 is: (following  the errorcode in Webdeveloper....)

<

machineKey validationKey="A039F5730769334BC3AF182D802155E1A733BE02" decryptionKey="12F10667410008F043DA1737E761733665E428D4F70F54B9" decryption="3DES" validation="SHA1"/>

Apart from the error in the Store module, this testsite is running fine.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,

Jos
