Hi,

I am developing a module in DNN.

I wonder how to remove related data when admin removes a module from a portal?

For example, I am an admin of one portal and I added a module to one page in my portal. After taht, I added some data to this module. Then, I removed this module from the page in my portal.

In my developed module, all the data I added to this module still store in database. (It supposed to remove all the data which I added to the module in my portal and keep the others which are added from other module instances in other portals, right?)

Is there any interface or event could do that? Thank you!

the easiest thing to do would be to add a relationship to the modules table, and add a cascade delete constraint to that relationship. That way, if a module gets deleted, all related data is deleted as well....

Thanks. It sounds a good way.

But I still want to know if there is any solution to do that in programming?
