thanks for the info.. that makes sense..  compiling stuff is a learning curve I'm trying to avoid

Not sure if this will help many of us but figured I would share it just in case...

They error is related to the action menu, which in turn is built by the container. If you do not display the container, anonymous users will not attempt to load the action menu and therefore bypass the error.

I understand that this is only for certain modules and is not a fix. However, it is enough of a workaround for my case and I am hoping it will get me (and hopefully a few others) through to the next release.

Eureka:  If you cannot compile the source code, then you won't be able to fix the problem yourself.  If you are a user of an Inventua module and have a broken site, contact me directly and I'll help you get your site running.

Thanks for your kind offer. 

I have since replaced the Inventua menu's with DnnMenu and HouseMenu on my main site. I still have Inventua menu's on my child sites, but the sites are still very much under construction. I presume, by  the time they are ready, DNN v4.4.1 should be available, so I won't bother replacing them just yet.

Is there any projected release date for DNN 4.4.1, which I understand will fix this bug.  We just upgraded to 4.4.0 in all of our environments and were going to purchase the menu control but will wait for the fix.
