The new Reports module allowing Visualisers looks exactly what i'm after for a DNN site I'm building, but would like to be able to use a Web Service as a Data Source instead of the DNN database. Is there a way of doing this...???

It is not possible to do that in the current version, but the next version will be introducing the concept of multiple data sources which can ranges from Databases, to XML files, to Web Services, so that should do what you want.
