When you send out a newsletter and insert images using the text editor's image gallery, it eliminates the full path of the image and just leaves /portals/0/image.jpg - Thus, no images show up in the emails sent out using the newsletter feature.

Can anyone help?

I know about this issue, I solve it by using an alternative domain pointing to, where the images reside.

Unless I am not thinking outside the box enough, this would still mean you have to hard code the paths to the images. My client wants to do the work himself and I need him to have the ease of the image gallery. I did realize if you send it out once, then you can go to the html side of the code and put the proper path back in and it will send. Not sure why this works, but it does.

I haven't used the DNN newsletter capability, but wonder if there is some way to insert an html base tag into the head element of the newsletter that is e-mailed:

<base href='http://mydomain' />
