Hello all,

I have seen the posts re: changing the 'Most recent blog entries' control title but my question is how can I independently change the titles of all the other blog controls AT THE POINT OF INSTALL that, by defauilt all show the title 'View_Blog'?

It seems that 'Most recent...' can be changed in a resource file but that the other controls are picking out the frinedly name of the first module definition contained within the manifest file which sems to mean that although i can change this text it changes across all the other module controls as well.

Obliged and out,
TimmyG

Anyone know if this is possible?

I believe you could modify the entries in the .dnn manifest that is uploaded and change the values there.

If you have the module currently loaded you can go to Module Definitions as Host and edit the module.  For each page of your module you can edit the "Title" property to be set to a value you desire.

By using the search engine with the words "Most recents blog entries", you find the solution:

Hi Guys and thanks for the replies,

Mitchell: I've tried the manifest file changes with no result; this is unfortunately the problem; i need to change these titles at the point of install rather than afterwards via resource files / module title etc.

Declic: The post referenced was my first stop and does not provide the solution at all, it pre-affirms this post and no solution is offered.

Obliged and out,
TimmyG.
