I have DNN 4.5.3 installed and it has operated nicely for several weeks now.

Yesteraday I changed the Portal Type from 'Private' to 'Verified'

Now, when I log in via the 'host' account I do not see the Admin or the Host meuus - I'm logged in almost like a registered user with the addition of the control panel.

When I click on one of the icons in the control panel I get the following error;
-----------------------------
DotNetNuke Error" Version 04.03.05
"Index was outside the bounds of the array"
-------------------------------

When I log in via the 'admin' account the Admin menu is not visible to me.

It appears that changing this Portal type has changed the access levels on accounts that were established prior.

I intend to go into the database and change this back but wanted to record this behavior first.

Anyone else see this before? Ideas?

Pat Howlett

What table/field in the database is for setting the permission type of the portal (public, private, verified, none)?

What is the setting for each?

Thanks

Pat

The table is the Portals Table

Field User Registration 0 = None, 1= Private, 2=Public, 3=Verified
