I got the problem myself on my dnn page the other day and got rid of it by changing my forum alias from "tom.wellige" to "Tom Wellige". Don't know why, but after this the problem was gone.

Thanks for the reply !

I do not have punctuation in my alias unfortunately.  To make things a touch more interesting - I do not see this problem as Admin...  But any other user that I have tried does have this error.  This intranet does use Active Directory authentication - not sure how this may or may not be a factor yet

still stuck...
