There's always the more basic issue of file/folder permissions as well...  :)

Sebastian, good point, but I only have one portal and I am looking at and expecting the files to be portal/0.

Jeff, good point. I have access to the server so I checked folder and file permissions and the ftp'd files have the same permissions as the files uploaded using DNN file manager.

I should say that the directory structure shows up in DNN, it is just the mp3 files don't display. For fun, I uploaded a jpeg file, synchronized and it displays, but the mp3 files sitting next to this file don't display. I'm guessing that DNN won't show .mp3 files for some reason.

Try checking the allowable file extensions on the host/host settings page, add MP3 in there.

Thanks Chris. That did it. I "had" mp3s listed on the allowable extensions and then DNN crashed on an inplace version upgrade, so I started over and forgot that detail. Thanks again.
