Hi,

I use the core Banner Ad module on PokerDIY but very few people actually buy banner ads as they want SEO value and they buy text links instead. It would be great to have an option at ad level to either turn off click-tracking and make it a SEO friendly, direct banner link, or not... it seems advertisers (in the poker sector anyway) are more willing to pay for direct links than statistics... anyone else need this?

PageBlaster could do a replacement on that link in the output of the html if you wanted to DIY :)

Hehe - is there anything that PB cannot do? I was hoping for a more "organic" solution (like a setting in the banner modules (Direct or Tracking) ;)

You could offer your customers a normal link as an incentive to buy advertising.  Putting the link in a rotation is not nearly as good for SEO as leaving it on a page that has PR.

Be careful of advertising that benefit though. You wouldn't want Mr. G to know you were selling links ;)
