Well, the bite the bullet module doesn't do exactly what i wanted, but at least it works!  Considering that I am just building this up to learn enough to build our real site, this will work until I find something better.  Thanks!

AFAIK, Oliver Hine's weather module hasn't been updated for a long time, therefore I suggest as well to use another one.

Interestingly, I’m experiencing the same error in Oliver Hane’s weather module on release server while it works ok on production machine at the same time….
Both sites were updated to DNN  4.7

The module works again after upgrade to 4.8

I was receving the error and just installed the bitethebullet one - I like it better. no need to change trust level, has more detail. See it at http://www.mofga.org/AgriculturalServices/tabid/130/Default.aspx

I also edited the ascx to customize location and added the footer for other options you can see there, plus deleted the yahoo reference.
