After I receive 5 or more replies to become a DNN Image Upload Control Developer Team Member I will send out the private link to the online chat room I setup.

hows this coming along. I am looking for a quick soultion to add pictures in profiles. I want to use jpeg copy of peoples signatures to allow them to digitally sign documents

If you do a Google search for gmailupload.zip or download the file directly from http://nearsolutions.net/Servicios/Descargas.aspx that should help you get started. It works for DNN 4.9.0 but isn't perfect because when you upgrade to DNN 5.0.0 the control will dissappear.

***It needs to be compiled seperately from the DNN core DLL files.

I've downloaded and followed the instructions for the FileUploadEditControl Custom field for Dotnetnuke from the website you suggested. When I try to view my profiles i get the  erro: A critical error has occurred.
Could not load type 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.FileUploadEditControl' from assembly 'FileUploadEditControl'.

That's because their namespace differs from the one told in their installation-instructions..

Change the 'text' of the datatype in Host -> Lists to: FileUploadEditControl.NSTeam.UI.WebControls.FileUploadEditControl, FileUploadEditControl
