I am trying to evaluate wether to use DotNetNuke on a project and I recently downloaded the Source Code for DotNetNuke 5.0.  When I unzipped the files, I opened the solution and the website project was not assiocated with it.  I added the website and there were many errors because of namespace resolution.  There must be something that I am missing.  I looked at the documentation and there is alot of it.  I would like to have the basic framework up this week if possible so that I can see if it meets my needs.  Could someone please refer me to a specific link or document that I can read concerning the basics of getting this running.

Thank you in advance!

Personally if you are just evaluating the framework, I strongly recommend just using the installation package and not bothering with the source version.  I have a helpful install guide that might get you going.  Installing DotNetNuke 5.0.0 Locally.

please make sure to point your IIS web site to the web site subfolder. I also suggest to adjust the path of the web site in the .sln file using a text editor prior to opening it with VS the first time.
