Thanks for doing this, Ben. I'm emailing you now. One of our DNN 5 sites is badly affected by this. We have an in-house developer (not me) who is willing to take a crack at it. Unfortunately, he's swamped with CRM development right now.

Would you be willing to send us your source code so he can get a leg up on the DNN 5 version? If so, we'll share that version for others who may be affected.

You are the man! What boggles the mind is what took you 5 minutes was difficult for the original developer to do. Thanks again!

I first confirmed that the problem still existed in DNN 7.0.3 and 7.0.4. I confirmed the problem to still exist in these two versions. Afterward, I upgraded the module on my personal Community Edition 7.0.3 site. It worked instantaneously. When visiting my already staged Documents module, the designated folder did show up as the default. We can now add subfolders with the letter 'a' in it!

I will update the module on my corporate intranet running Pro 7.0.4 tomorrow and give you one more update here.
