We upgraded to 5.0.1 RC2 this AM. (We also did DNN 4.9.4 over the weekend). Since then when we change the theme on any of our event calendars, the CSS file for the theme we changed away from is still attached, so both stylesheets are loaded from then on.

- Edit your calendar
- Change the them from whatever it is currently (let's say "default) to something else
- Update changes and view your event module. We're seeing BOTH stylesheets attached (default, as well as the new one we set).

Do you have two instances of the module on the page?

Cheers

It seems to affect pages that have a single calendar.

http://www2.catchthefire.com/

http://www2.catchthefire.com/world/canada/

If you look at the CSS for the second URL (that contains only a single calendar), you can see both CSS files are being loaded:
/Events/Themes/CTF/CTF.css
/Events/Themes/TACF/TACF.css

By looking at the HTML generated there appear to be two instances of the module:-

  • 1408 - which is the one display and is using the CTF theme
  • 1407 - which appears to be content free (!!) using the TACF theme, and is directly after 1408 in the page source

You can see these in your page source by looking for ThemeCTF and ThemeTACF as css classes. I'm not sure what 1407 is, but it does appear to be an Events module instance.
