Using DotNetNuke_3.2.2_Install_1, DotNetNuke was installed at /dnn on a 1and1.com hosted (.Net 1.x) MS Business package.

I was able to open it up, add a search box, new pages etc.

There was no TEXT/HML module.  There is no way to enter or edit text.  There are only about 9 modules.

How do I get the TEXT module and other standard modules installed?

You can download the modules from the site - here - on the downloads page, or you can also go to the dnn root folder - (pre installed) and go to the install/modules folder and install them manually.

Sorry, but I don't understand.
First of all, Is it normal that after installing all of version 03..03.02 from scratch that I should not have a Text/HTML module working.
I have Iframe, Newsfeed, Links, Users on line, XML, etc. but not text.

Secondly I don't know how to download modules from the site.  I saw "projects" Module :: Text / HTML   for exmaple.  Should I download that?

The preinstalled copy of DNN that I downloaded, it has a DeskTop Modules folder which contains only 3 modules: Page Title, Search Input, and Search Results.

I downloaded HTML_3.1_Install.zip.  Is that what I need to get a text editor module like the one I am using now?

If so, what do I do with it?  Put another way, how do I do a manual install?

I had this problem and after weeks of trying to figure it out i finally did

When you upload the Zip file to your web host and use their 'file manger' or similar tools it skips the zip files inside the main zip

You'll notice that your /install/modules directory is empty

It should contain zip files for all the modules but the web hosts 'file manager' tool can't extract zip file from with a zip file

to fix upload all the zip files from /install/modules

then go to "your site"/Install/Install.aspx?mode=InstallResources

The missing modules should all be back
