I have the exact same problem. I'm using Godaddy.com as a hosting provider and have tried everything in my grasp to try and make this work. But to no effect. Please let me know if there is any solution to this.

Thanks,

Sujeet Pillai

Here's the thing that caused me an error: DotNetNuke does not install (and I'm not sure would it work at all) with database privileges less than dbo, no matter what manual says.

DotNetNuke's tables and SPs work OK, but code which accesses to aspnet_* tables and SPs ignores DataProvider's "databaseOwner" property in web.config.

Hence, to create this tables/SPs you need dbo privileges or portal creation will fail.
