Rick, please temper your words, if you first access a new product. There are features and constraints, which are not obvious on first sight but have its benefits in the long term. DNN Membership has a couple of layers, some are configurable in web.config and obtained from 3rd party (Microsoft) others are configurable via UI (user profile) and a few are fixed.DNN is used in many different scenarios and it is very hard or even impossible, to suit all needs simultaneously. sorry.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold

Hmmmm.  I'm a journalist, a writer, and a student of stupid behavior in high tech.  I'm not sure if this issome implied threat, but I think I need to speak to upper management.

And, Leopold, you temper your words.  I'm a customer.  I've spent thousands of dollars on DNN.  I've bought lots of modules.  I put money in your pocket.

I'm the person who's supposed to be catered to here.  Not you.

Excuse me?

Leopold, perhaps you can do me a favor and send me the phone number of upper management at DNN.

I'd like to talk to them.  I'm writing a new book on SaaS, on software marketing, on mobile applications. I've written a nice article about DNN in a recent back issue of Softletter, but maybe there's a new slant here! Maybe I need to start writing about another aspect of the company.

You let me know.

In the meantime, if could look into the problem with DNN in respects to managing deletes, this would be nice.

lol, Rick - sorry, but it looks like you don't understand all the DNN eco system. I am a volunteer, spending here all my leisure time supporting users without being paid - yes, more than 25k posts for support and improving the product. Besides, I manage testing of all bundled extensions (as a volunteer again) and take care of the German user group as well as the European DNN professionals. I admit, I got a few small contracts from other forum users (less than an hour per month) and from DNN Corp 2 t-shirts and a frisbee within the past 5 years. Other questions?
You may contact DNN Corp using the contact options provided.
