well I have logged to my database control panel and there is only another 1 database that's not mine, and all this has happened right after the upgrade, so it can't be that the perfomance issue I also have another install on the sme hosting with would open up in 5 sec. time... not lightning fast but not timed out..... if there's nothing that could be done I'll have to roll back again... I had to roll back once becuse of a bad upgrade.. this time no errors in upgrade yet still issues.... Good DNN in cleanly installed DNN :)

how many rows are there in your eventlog table? how large is your transaction log?

logged into my DB control panel event log 284 rows transaction log is 427 392kb

oops, transaction log is by far too large, please review your backup plan.

what do you mean "review your backup plan" ? should I consider using plan "B" now ( i.e. deleting this whole thing and db and install clean DNN and restore sites from templates? )
